and the verdict is....

bronchitis with a little pneumonia thrown in for good measure. dr. a actually thought he had influenza, but thank goodness, he didn't!

so, we came home with some xopenex for the nebulizer, a z-pak, some prometh with codeine cough syrup, some darvocet for pain (i think i'll just try tylenol and motrin first....), and a proventil hfa inhaler prescription. (we already had one of those!) oh, and instructions for no school at least on wednesday and maybe thursday.

it was a good thing we got out of school 2 hours early today due to the nice 4-5 inch snowfall we received. that way, john didn't have to miss his band concert tonight! yeah!

oh, and dr. asman's last bit of advice was the best: keep him away from ashton! you got it!
