you all know that i have been battling this sinus crap for over a month now. i still just am not feeling well at all. tuesday, it seemed like i blew my nose all day. some of the things ending up in the tissue reminded me of 3 years ago. crap. this is just what dr. a and i were afraid of. for those of you new to me--i have had a fungus in my sinus cavity-twice. two years in a row. the only way to get that out of there is by surgery. they pretty much just go in and suction and scrape it all out. both times that i have had this, i have had strange things coming out of my nose. and, those strange things were what i saw again on tuesday.
so, when i went to the dr on wed, he drew blood. unfortunately for me, my wbc was totally normal. dr. a felt so bad when he came in to tell me. he looked at me and said, "you are the sickest person i have seen all day, and i can't do a thing to help you." he was so sincere and sad about it. which is one of the reasons our family loves him! he told me to stay home from work thursday and friday, and i told him no. he knows me well enough by now, so he knew i would be going anyway. but, the best thing is, is that he got me in to see my ent in rochester on monday! yeah!!!
it sounds weird to say that i am so excited to get that stupid scope stuck up my nose, but i am so excited! that is the only way that we will know if it is the fungus, just inflammation, or something else.
