this was one of the worst days of my entire life.
on this day 3 years ago, we had our dog, benny, put to sleep. he was 15.
i'll never forget saying good-bye to him for the last time. it was horrible. awful. so sad.
that is the worst part of pet ownership-the end.

I agree and I'm sorry! I had to put one of my cats (I had brothers) down when he was 6.5 and these were my BOYS. I lived alone and they were my sanity for a long time. I was 8 months pregnant with AJ and leaving to go visit my dying grandfather. It was in April and it was a poopy week. *HUGS*
