Please pray for Grandma Kathryn....

Grandma Kathryn is Tom's step-dad's mom who is one tough cookie! :) She is almost 97 years old, and still lives by herself in an apartment. This month has been tough on her. She went into the hospital for pneumonia, then found out she had a knot in her bowel. She survived the surgery fine, but now the rest of her body is starting to fail. Her heart is not beating very strong, and her kidneys have started to shut down. She has refused food, drink, and meds. The doctors are giving her pain meds to keep her comfortable only. She is coming back to our local hospital into a Hospice room, so the end is imminent. Tom's uncle that lives in Germany is making his way back to IA for about 10 days, so we pray that something will happen in the time that he is here.
