We had a great weekend celebrating my cousin Jake and his new wife Heather's wedding!
Their wedding was on Saturday in my aunt and uncle's backyard. They have a smaller backyard, but it is soooooo awesome!! They have a HUGE tree that fans the whole yard that they had strung white holiday lights in. They had mums, birch branches, candles, and other just awesome things scattered throughout the yard. It was a very small affair, and the judge that married them was actually my aunt and uncle's best friend and had known my cousin his whole life. It was so cool!
The ceremony itself lasted about 10 minutes--!!! It was so touching, Jake and Heather were both teary eyed, it was so romantic!!
After the ceremony (and champagne!), we ate Famous Dave ribs and chicken and had awesome wedding cake! Then, we just hung out in the yard with the chimanea burning, music playing, and talking. It was an awesome day!!
